If you’re looking for a street photography workshop in Edinburgh, I can help!
I offer private 1-1 or small group photography sessions tailored to you. Whether you’re new to photography, or an experienced photographer coming to Scotland, I can help you see Edinburgh through a street photographer’s eyes.
What’s Included
Each workshop is a tailored session (typically 4-hours, but flexible) where I take you to my favourite locations, from the well-known to the less-discovered. We’ll walk the streets and focus on whatever is important to you – photographing people, framing and composition, mastering exposure, or camera set up.
This is Scotland where we have four seasons in one day, so come prepared for all weather conditions! I recommend dressing in layers and bringing waterproofs just in case.
Workshop Options
Every workshop can be geared towards what you want to learn or experience:

Undiscovered Edinburgh vs Popular Spots. Choose between Edinburgh’s iconic locations you’ve always wanted to photograph, lesser-known areas that most tourists won’t see, or a mix of both!

Camera & Settings. Perfect if you want to understand your camera better. We can work through aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how to use them creatively for street photography.

Composition. For those comfortable with their camera but wanting to improve their eye. We’ll explore framing, light, layers, and what makes a street photograph work.

Guide-Only Mode. If you already know what you’re doing, I can take you to the best spots and let you shoot, offering feedback only if and when you want it.
